First time ever eating here and it was fine. Nothing amazing but it was pretty much exactly what I thought it would be. If you are in the mood it'll hit the spot. The woman running the drive through on Sunday was an absolute delight. She was quick and professional and had a wonderful attitude. THAT is what made it for me! Price per person: $1–10

I’m very disappointed with the order we received this evening for the children. When my son-in-law arrived home with the food, the fish looked extremely unappetizing—honestly, it resembled baked fish rather than the battered, fried fish we were expecting. We specifically ordered battered fish for the kids, but what we received did not meet that standard at all. This is not the level of quality we are used to from your restaurant. I’ve overlooked a previous issue with service, but this experience was especially concerning. The only reason the order wasn’t returned is because he had already made it all the way back home. Unfortunately, the children barely touched their food. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work to improve both consistency and quality moving forward. Food: 1

We are use to a high quality Captain D's experience in the south. The Midwestern stores can not get it right. Stopped by about 8pm tonight at the location on State avenue. Employees were out in the parking lot when we arrived. One lady came inside to take our order. The fish wasn't even close to warm. Not sure there was even reheated. The macaroni and cheese was not even edible. We got a breadstick instead of a hush puppy and it wasn't very warm either. Definitely not fresh. Sweet tea was in the back. Tasted tainted. Definitely should not be served They were waiting on a delivery truck so they were out of about six different items... Which is not within these employees control. But this is our absolute worst Captain D's experience ever! Grossest food I have ever seen served on a plate. $18.49. wasted! The Captain D's in Wentzville, MO was actually delicious but for some reason corporate closed that store as soon as it got a decent following. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
