First time trying Captain Jack's, and it was great! Got it through GrubHub & everything was just as I ordered. Chicken Livers were hot & crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside. Mac & Cheese was so good. Paid the up charge for fried zucchini & okra, it was worth it. The okra tasted like my Mamaw made it. The yeast rolls were great to. The cherry Coke was a Coke. I enjoyed it all & the portions are so huge I'm gonna have 2 meals outta this. It's hard to find restaurant chicken livers nowadays & these are great. I'll be getting this again but I want to try the fish & chicken to. And I forgot to get the banana pudding which I had my eye on. There's next time though. I'll be back.... Get You Some Yum Yum! This is now our go to Fish and Chicken Restaurant in Knoxville. Both my husband and I have kidney issues snd we must keep to a renal diet which means virtually no sodium. Captain Jacks conscientiously prepared our cod and perch without salt. The breading was light and delicious and everything was carefully prepared. We had the best fish dinner ever and yet we were able to keep to our dietary restrictions. Everything tasted so good, we didn’t even notice the missing salt. On top of that, everything was carefully packaged for the Bitesquad Driver! I highly recommend Captain Jacks! This is a restaurant that clearly cares about their customers!
