I visited Capvin Pizza Restaurant during a business trip and decided to give it a try on a Saturday evening. From the outside, the place looks very inviting and lively. When I went inside to ask for a table, I was told it was fully booked. I then asked about outdoor seating, which was available. However, when I asked a few follow up questions, the staff member’s tone became noticeably sharp and unfriendly. It might have been a stressful evening, but it did not create a welcoming first impression. I chose to sit outside despite the cold weather. Unfortunately, there were no heating options, which made the wait quite uncomfortable. What stood out to me was that tables who arrived after me were attended to first. They were given cutlery and had their orders taken before me. I had to actively ask to place my order and even to receive basic table service, which felt inconsistent. The waiting time was quite long, and I noticed other tables receiving their food before me, even though I had only ordered one pizza. During this time, I was still waiting for my drink as well. After waiting in the cold for quite a while, I decided to cancel my order. The cancellation was accepted immediately without any attempt to improve the situation or offer an alternative such as moving me indoors or bringing the food as soon as possible. There was also no effort to create any value that might have encouraged me to stay as a customer, even just by prioritizing the food after the overall unpleasant experience. I was then asked to settle the bill for the drinks outside, without being invited in to warm up. Overall, the restaurant has potential and looks appealing, but the service experience, especially for someone visiting for the first time, felt unwelcoming and poorly managed.
