Went to bakery area to try and buy one of thier pressed juices. Seen the machine with left overs like they had just used it. And told us that the machine was broken, asked for different kind of juice because ive seen the had left overs in the blender and they told me they were out of ingredients. Wondering why dont you put up a sign. Ive learned the trick when they dont want to work its the excuse they give.

The kitchen area is always dirty and when ask for some one to clean the dirty table they always reply we are short handed and ignore you. Very disappointing at this location!!!

Racist Racist Racist!!!!! I am outraged by the treatment I received at Cardenas Markets on Sterling Plaze and Highland Ave. After using the self-checkout to purchase only plantains, I was stopped by a security guard as I was leaving the store. He called over other employees and accused me of stealing, claiming I only paid for one plantain. What infuriated me even more was that I was the only one singled out and asked for a receipt. No other customers were stopped or questioned. It was blatantly obvious that I was being unfairly targeted and racially profiled over items worth barely $5. When I requested to speak to the manager, I was given the runaround, and a manager never showed up. This added insult to injury and made an already humiliating experience even worse. This kind of discriminatory and degrading treatment is absolutely unacceptable. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background. I demand that Cardenas Markets take immediate action to address this serious issue and ensure no one else has to endure such appalling behavior.
