The food is good and the menu is interesting, which has brought me back a few times but unfortunately every time the service has been really underwhelming. Often you have to search within the restaurant to find someone to seat you, only to have them seat you outside and then forget about you. I’ve had to go back inside several times after waiting 15+ minutes at a time for them to bring us water we asked for, take our order, or assist with other things. All of this has happened when the restaurant is mostly empty from a customer perspective. The fondue dish is incredibly small, it’s advertised as for 2-3 people but a hungry person could eat two orders of it themselves. When we ordered the fondue it came cold, we had to get them to relight the fondue several times because it kept going out and I’d need to go into the restaurant to find a server each time to help us because they weren’t coming outside. It’s unfortunate because I’ve recommended the place to several people and gone back many times because I like the food but I just can’t justify it with the quality of service. I wanted to order steak frites for delivery. However, 10 or so minutes after placing the order, Carens Rosedale cancelled the order. I understand business operations are changing, but this was very unprofessional as I was hoping to enjoy their food. From my perspective as the customer, it seems more fair to either be open or closed for delivery, not to change partway through. Service: 1 Service: Delivery
