Caribea in Nairobi is a restaurant situated on Komo Lane, offering an intriguing combination of features and services that appeal to various dining preferences. Although it lacks a comprehensive presence in popular restaurant directories, with only a minimal mention on Foursquare, it still serves as a notable choice for patrons seeking Indian cuisine. Guests have consistently remarked on its vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of a 'koroga', particularly suited for large groups, thanks to private booths that can accommodate up to 15 people.
When it comes to dining amenities, Caribea caters to modern conveniences with offerings such as outdoor seating and Wi-Fi; credit card payments are accepted, while there is no system for reservations. Review notes from visitors, albeit outdated—last recorded seven years ago—highlight menu features like tandoori chicken and Achari chicken, alongside complementary cocktails. The establishment shines during warmer weather given the outdoor seating arrangement, suggesting nights might be less comfortable if temperatures drop.
Reviews emphasize various standout dishes along with commendable service, finding a particular appreciation for chicken preparations, including chicken wings that leave a lasting impression. While Caribea promises an enjoyable experience rooted in its signature vibe, the lack of updated feedback or direct input from the restaurant owners warrants a bit of caution for diners planning a visit. Best venue for a 'koroga' parties of up to 10/15 people. Accommodating & private booths. Not ideal at night if the weather is chilly. Their chicken wings are straight outta this world. Free wifi too.
