Food was great!!! Just some pointers why i gave a 3 rating for service and atmosphere. Is this store trying out a "No contact" model with the ordering because that's kind of throwing me off especially since the store literally just seats about 20 people if they're lucky. The staff was nice naman but constantly having to stand shout and ask for more rice or vinegar seemed unnecessary. The store itself doesn't seem to have an identity of its own. The designs for the menus and the promos all look like they were made by different designers and this kind of misses the mark in terms of brand identity. I wouldn't be surprised if their dine in customers skyrocketed if the overall brand became more defined and indentifiable. Also, again, food was great! Hahaha it really was. Worth the drive. :). Hey Kevin! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. On the no-contact ordering, we do that to help keep costs down so we can offer better prices on the food, but I hear you, we’ll look at how to make it more convenient. As for branding, we’re already working on redesigning menus and materials so everything is consistent. And I’m really glad you loved the food! Let me know if there’s anything else you notice!Salamat po!!!

Dining at Carlo’s Kitchen yesterday was a delightful experience that celebrated the heart and soul of Filipino cuisine. We started with the chicken inasal and BBQ chicken served with fragrant java rice. Both dishes were exceptionally well executed, the chicken was tender, juicy, and infused with deep, smoky flavors, while the seasoning was balanced and intentional, never overpowering. The crispy pata was another standout, boasting a perfectly crisp exterior that gave way to succulent, flavorful meat inside, a true indulgence done right. Adding to the experience was Carlo’s thoughtful gesture of serving us complimentary calamansi juice. Bright, refreshing, and perfectly tart, it was a simple but meaningful touch that elevated the meal and reflected the warm hospitality Filipinos are known for. We also had the privilege of tasting their birthday pancit before it officially launched on the menu, and it did not disappoint, it was comforting, celebratory, and full of flavor. My daughter also enjoyed the fried chicken, which instantly brought to mind the familiar, comforting taste of Jollibee, a nostalgic benchmark many Filipinos hold dear. Overall, Carlo’s Kitchen delivers not only well-crafted food but also a genuine sense of welcome. It was a memorable dining experience, and one I would confidently and enthusiastically recommend to anyone seeking authentic Filipino flavors done with care and heart. Thank you Carlos! We hope to dine in again soon. Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ella, thank you so much for this amazing and thoughtful review. We’re really humbled by your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience at Carlo’s Kitchen. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the inasal, BBQ chicken, crispy pata, and the calamansi juice. Our goal is always simple, honest Filipino comfort food served with care, so it means a lot that you felt that in every dish. And we’re glad your daughter liked the fried chicken too! The Jollibee comparison made us smile but of course, we humbly bow down to the legendary Chicken Joy. It was our pleasure to have you try the birthday pancit before launch, and we truly appreciate your support and encouragement. Thank you again, and we can’t wait to welcome you back soon. Salamat po!
