True gastronomic experience. The right place for a special lunch or dinner. The restaurant is located in a beautiful house, simple and old, but, at the same time, charming and conveying a different and cheerful atmosphere. Another positive point is the friendly service from all the staff. The food is extraordinary. The hardest part is choosing dishes from so many eye-catching options. For that reason, to begin with, the snack mix is an excellent choice. It comes with two cheese pastries from Serra da Canastra, two different mini Vietnamese rolls with shrimp and citrus sauce, two mini crunchy ones with a tasty tuna tartar and two sensational and creamy cassava dumplings stuffed with shrimp. Well served, the main dishes have a beautiful presentation and are very tasty. Carlota's Fillet Wellington is famous for nothing. The best I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked meat, puff pastry and mushroom duxelle, as well as a pleasant poivre sauce. As an accompaniment, a delicate curd cheese risotto brings an exceptional combination of flavors. With some dishes that change from time to time, this time's vegetarian option was surprising in terms of flavor and seasoning. A great gnocchi with leek and parmesan fonduta, burrata, colorful mini tomatoes and nuts. Just as good as the lamb-stuffed tortellini, with yogurt veloutè, mint, tahini and crunchy chickpeas. For dessert, the three-chocolate volcano with pistachio ice cream is balanced and delicious, but you can't help but highlight the famous guava soufflé with catupiry syrup. Surprising in texture and flavor. One of the best restaurant sweets I've ever eaten. Anyway, go because it’s so worth it!
