Carmella’s offers pretty good food at slightly elevated pricing. This is understandable, as I am aware of the area it is located in and assumed cost of being there. Service can be fairly spotty at times as far as wait times and receiving food BUT the staff is really friendly and the whole place gives off the local vibe that they definitely try and lean into. Overall a great experience and worth checking out if you live in the area. 4.2/5. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I have been enjoying Carmella’s and Pearl Market since they opened but tonight was somehow just extra lovely. The menu additions are so great, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food warm and comforting. I was just feeling so lucky to have a casual place like this in the neighborhood. Carmella's is a pretty trendy spot that serves great pizza with great customer service. I was very impressed with the dough/crust of the pizza. There was plenty of pepperoni on my slice. The pepperoni was a little thicker than how I usually prefer it, but it didn't distract. The pizza was a bit greasy, which might be a turn off for some. My biggest regret was that I only ordered 1 slice when I should have ordered more. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
