Come here for a meal right after visiting 8th Street Designer District. Most guests recommend trying perfectly cooked juane, calamari and chicken wings. Good tostones can be what you need. Delicious Mimosas are worth trying here.
The warm atmosphere of this bar makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Fast service is something guests like here. With the fine decor, visitors may feel at home there. Google gives it 4.9 so you can select Carnaval Rooftop to have a good time here.

I had friends visiting from out of town who were staying in South Beach, so I suggested we meet for Sunday brunch. I specifically looked for a restaurant within walking distance of their hotel that offered a rooftop setting, ocean views, and a DJ. Carnaval Rooftop checked all those boxes... and even had live performers! So it felt like the perfect way to welcome them Miami style. Carnaval Rooftop is definitely a vibe and a fun choice for celebrations like birthdays or bachelorette parties. That said, the food and drinks were average at best. I expected a bit more, though that might be a high bar for Ocean Drive. One disappointment was the bottomless mimosa deal. The menu listed $25 bottomless mimosas, but we were told that option was no longer available. Instead, we had to purchase a bottle and received chasers, which wasn’t quite the same. Service was a bit slow, but it didn’t bother me much. The music was great, and the live performances kept us entertained. There is no parking on this part of Ocean Dr., so it’s best to walk, take an Uber, or plan for a nearby garage or street parking. Also worth noting: getting to the rooftop requires taking the stairs. I’m not sure if there’s elevator access available.
