Mexican food will be what you are offered to degust at this restaurant. That's a nice idea to order perfectly cooked laing, consomme and omelettes. Try good flans at Carnitas Y Tortas Ahogadas. Delicious michelada is a decent choice. It's nice to order great agua fresca or good horchata.
This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are reasonable. It's usually a good idea to experience something new and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. This spot scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.

This was my first time eating at Carnitas y Tortas Ahogadas Guadalajara. We came as a group of 10 on a Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately (with the choice of inside or outside) and we chose outside. There are water misters above the outdoor seating which was really nice considering that it was 97°. Upon sitting down, the waiters took down our drink orders immediately. Torta Ahorgada Con Carnitas -- 4.5/5. Prior to ordering I thought it would be super soggy and hard to eat due to all of the sauce however I was completely wrong. Yes the sauce was poured over the Torta and yes, the Torta was sitting in a plate full of sauce however the bread was still nice and crunchy. The pickled onions complimented the Torta very well. Birria De Chivo (Goat) -- 4/5. Goat meat is typically more on the gamey side so if you aren't a fan, just order beef. But personally I'm fine with goat meat. Served with fresh handmade tortillas and lime/cilantro/onions/pickled veggies. The Chico size was perfect for one person. There are 4 house sauces assuming the red was the spiciest (it was a great combo with the birria) I would definitely recommend eating here especially if you want to get away from the strip vibes. The restaurants located about 15 minutes away from the strip. There isn't music playing out in the outdoor seating so it's definitely nice to get a more peaceful experience versus everything available on the strip.
