Ordering nicely cooked fried chicken, prawns and arugula salads is what many guests recommend. You can always enjoy tasty banana pudding, cheesecakes and waffles at this restaurant. It's nice to taste good wine, beer or rum. Carolina 1663 has the good coffee selection.
The cozy atmosphere of this place allows customers to relax after a hard working day. The appealing staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The nice service shows a high level of quality at this spot. You will pay average prices for your meal. But a number of people who use Google didn't give this restaurant a high rating.

Great food - steak cooked perfectly, and the collards and mac n cheese was spot on. And the Manhattan was perfect!

We had an interesting visit to Carolina 1663. This was our first visit to the establishment under this name (has been others) and we made the reservation because other restaurants were totally booked due to college graduations and Mother's Day. When we arrived, a little after 5:30 pm, we were the only diners in the restaurant. Perhaps because it is in the Sheraton Hotel, most of the tables were set up for groups. Despite us being the only breathing customers, they put us at a table right in front of the kitchen doors. We asked to move and were told the other tables were reserved. We then asked to be seated in the bar. That turned out well because other than one person at the bar (who left in a few minutes), we were the only customers. The bartender was our waiter and did a nice job. The food was surprisingly good (though overpriced) and we ended up enjoying the quiet meal in our own space. Not sure this experience will be routine, but expect the restaurant to not be over-crowded and the food to be good.
