Cannot praise this unique dining venue enough! Excellent service, delicious food, amazingly friendly atmosphere and general bonhomie. It's a BYO venue, but don't fret it just means you get to enjoy your favourite tipple and not have to "make do" with the houses wines, beers and spirits. They're only open 3 nights a week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) so make sure you plan your trip to York, enjoy the history and get down to The Carriage Diner for your evening meal before you drive home or settle in for the night at one of the towns many hotels..(my personal fave is The Castle). When you had your fill, don't forget to leave the young waitress a tip Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A lovely quiet cuppa with a friend on a pleasant March afternoon. Just like home. Whilst quiet today, the weekend promises to be all of a bustle as they cater for a local Festival. Thank you YORK CARRIAGE DINER ! You were a perfect setting for us today
