the service was good but the food was not. the rice was undercooked and over salted for our entire table. the chicken was really dry. the salsa tasted like it came out of a jar. will not be back again.

I'm a vegetarian and I didn't have any food options. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm not the target audience. The rest of my party had mixed reactions to the restaurant. While they found the food to be tasty, it was greasy. Portion sizes seemed appropriate. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options. Beans cooked in lard.

Casa Alvarez is our favorite restaurant in the area. The red sauce for their enchiladas is awesome, and try a carnitas quesadilla!
