Good for what it is: a local neighborhood italian spot. If you want the best Italian spot in town, look elsewhere. If you want a reasonably priced pasta dish in a classic suburban restaurant, this'll definitely hit the spot. I dunno if I'll be back, but I don't feel disappointed with the experience at all. Price per person: $30–40

Used to be my favorite Italian restaurant - 35 years of dining here. They must have changed chefs and recipes. I’ve been ordering chicken Ala Maria and chicken parm and eggplant parm for years. The chicken Ala Maria now has a crap sauce - not hearty - maybe 3 mushroom slices in entire dish. Very light colored. Not hearty. Not flavorful. Red sauce on veal parm also crap. Very light color - obviously not cooked a long time like in the past. Tried to tell the waiter - he argued with me saying recipes have not changed. I worked at a famous STL Italian restaurant for many years. I know what good sauce tastes and looks like. Shame on you for cheapening your recipes. We won’t be back. I looked for Mike House when we left - he wasn’t up front. Did you change chefs? Sure seems that way. Yuk. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
