It was one of the worst experiences I have had to date. There was no one to greet us into the restaurant and we stood around waiting for someone to help us. When they did (even tho I had booked a table) I got the impression that one was not kept for us. My husband ordered the steak which was not medium rare and was tasteless. We ordered a started of calamari and I happened to drop my fork accidentally. Our waiter, Marco took the dropped fork but never came back with another clean one. We eventually had to find someone to bring another one. Marco never came back to repour our wine. From then on, he never made eye contact with us until it was time to pay the bill. It was a real bad experience for us which was supposed to be a celebration for my husband's belated birthday which we had to keep on postponing as he had just been through radiation therapy treatment and was now found to be in remission. We came away from this evening feeling cheated and very flat.

What a pleasant surprise! We'd been to this restaurant before under the previous owners. The experience back then was ok, so were were delighted to find the food was exceptional and the service was fabulous. Attentive without being intrusive. Friendly staff who seem genuinely interested in you and your experience. We'll be back!
