Last Sunday, had dinner at Fratelli. It was our first visit, attracted by the nice outdoor setting and atmosphere. The location is nice nice and relaxing indeed. However, the visit already started on the wrong foot with an utterly unfriendly & disinterested girl at the reception. Zero hospitality. Luckily, that was more than compensated by the friendly and engaged table service of the waiter. The recommended wine and foie gras starter were just fine. But the main dishes completely missed the mark. The beef cheeks by itself were tender, but the bourguignon sauce was absolutely tasteless, literally no taste at all! The black tiger shrimp dish was not only bland in taste as well, but the portion was insultingly small with just 4 or 5 shrimps and without taste as well. The best part of the main were the excellent French fries and the mashed potatoes. All in all, far below expectations and frankly far below what the standard for such an establishment should be. Unfortunatelly, the service is a joke.I left another review a few months ago when they opened and i visited the restaurant, but it disappeared.Probably because it wasn't honoring them. The first time we went there was in November 2025, for lunch, and we stayed inside. The food was average, very good looking but lacking taste. The atmosphere is better inside, more elegant, more quiet and the overall aspect of the restaurant is beautiful. The terrace is basic.First time we had bouef salad, fish croquettes, foie gras terrine, filled eggs, diplomat cake and cartof cake, everything was dull, no taste and the cakes were way too sweet. The service was terrible, the waiters bored, dragging their feet around the tables like kids do, you always had to call them beacause they weren't paying any attention. I wasn't going to come back but my husband insisted in trying one more time and mind you, 6 months later the same story. This time, the food was good, we had breaded liver, fish croquettes, parjoale with mashed potatoes, mici with fries and foie gras escalop (not terrine). Everything was good, but the cakes (snow white and amandina) very, very sweet! But this was the last time we went, because no matter how delicious the food can be, the service leaves much to be desired. We asked for coffee, they brought it without sugar, we had to wait and make sign to the waiter to come because he was too busy to gather with the other waiters around the hostess and laugh and talk.We always had to call him to refill the wine glass, we had to call him once again to bring bread to the table, and no, the terrace was not full, maybe 6-7 tables ocuppied and inside the restaurant was empty. We asked some appetizers for take away after we finished eating the starters and the waiter brought them and threw them on the table without saying anything.I had to take the bag and place it on the ground to make room on the table for the main courses that we were expecting.Needless to say that we ordered alot of food that we were certain he wouldn't remember and surprise, he would come back and ask again! I was paying attention to other tables around me and they had the same problem, always having to call the waiters because they were too busy chit chatting with the hostess around her chair like bees. So, bottom line, we won't be returning. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: lei 200+ Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback and for giving us a second chance. We are truly sorry that the service during your visits did not meet the standards we aim to offer at Casa Fratelli. We appreciate your honest observations regarding both the food and especially the attentiveness of our team. What you described regarding communication, table service and overall guest attention is not the experience we want anyone to have in our restaurant. Your feedback has been shared directly with both the management and service team and will be addressed internally with seriousness.

Had a great experience today at Casa Fratelli — excellent food and service. Robert from the team was especially attentive and handled all our requests perfectly. The traditional sarmale was definitely my favourite dish! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: lei 200+
