Tony and his father Ricky have a beautiful place right on a spectacular beach. The room has everything you need, but really you won’t spend much time in it. The resort is right on a beautiful beach that has very few people on it. You likely will have the beach area near the resort all to yourself. There is also a great pool, along with a small basketball court, ping pong table and pool table. The breakfast was great and had many choices, all of which are cooked when you order it. The WiFi worked well. Tony is a gifted singer and musician and played a few songs each night. All the staff were attentive and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this place! I cannot wait to come back! Service: 5

A slice of paradise! The owner, Tony, is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend booking directly through their website as they offer the best pricing. It's a terrific bed and breakfast - excellent food at the on-site restaurant, clean and simplistic rooms, a great pool with lots of space for lounging both in and out of the sun, and literally steps to the beach and Pacific Ocean. We had a blast and would go back in a heartbeat! Service: 5

If you are looking for a Magical Kingdom, it can be found at Casa Guardia, located somewhere between the lands of Enchantment and Charm. A short walk down the inviting Beach from the Decameron Resort in Farrallon, this lovely oasis extends a gracious welcome to all travelers, providing a respite from the usual resort atmosphere of "now what do we do"? Reader, you are doing it on arrival. On the grounds there is a variable depth pool, a rancho to seek refuge from both the sun and rain, and a short stair to a Pacific Beach where the water is warm and the waves docile. A small spa is adjacent to the pool. My wife is Panamanian and we visit Panama at least yearly, as we have a house 30 minutes from Casa Guardia. We always manage a stay with our friends of Casa Guardia where the service is superb. While most hospitality venues in Panama are missing the 'service gene', not so with Casa Guardia. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Good Food, Good Service, Satisfied guest. We just left the resort with some of our kids and spent two nights in Casco Viejo at a prominent, but shall remain unnamed hotel; where the abominable service came at a cost for two nights of thrice what we paid at Casa Guardia for three. At this Casco hotel, the staff was indifferent, poorly trained and absolutely, positively clueless. Again, the contrast with what we just left at Casa Guardia was as telling as it was infuriating. We will always stay at Case Guardia; we will never stay at this hotel in Casco. readers, do yourself and your family a favour and book Casa Guardia. Service: 5
