Casa Loba is a restaurant with a modern appearance and price located in a residential enclave that offers a good gastronomic option close to home and with a notable and correct note. Accompanied by my partner, we went to dinner around 10:30 p.m., a little late, but they served us without any problem. The place is open plan with high ceilings, which favors some drafts and enhances the feeling of cold in the place. But, once its doors are closed, it becomes a warm place that fails to have a more discreet and less noisy atmosphere. As for food, we ordered the following: 1.- Ham Croquettes: They are bite-sized pieces, square in shape, honeyed and with a somewhat light ham flavor. Perhaps the only thing that can be highlighted as a defect is its lack of flavor power. It would be advisable to have a little more flavor in your bechamel to give it more play. 2.- Cracked Eggs with Ham: From my point of view, it was the dish with the least prominence and the one we liked the least of everything that was ordered. It's nice to see that the potatoes are natural and not frozen with their skin and honeyed inside, but together with the little egg that is added and the charcuterie ham, it greatly lowers the quality of the dish. From my point of view, a rounder and thinner potato and some fried eggs with lace and some slices of freshly cut 50% Iberian ham would say much more about this mythical Spanish dish. 3.- Burrata salad: For me, who is a burrata lover, it seemed like a correct dish, but somewhat disjointed between the accompanying salad and the burrata and its pesto. 4.- Octopus Medium: The octopus was an octopus of correct quality, but with very little grilled flavor and somewhat bland. Without a doubt, a little extra ember and a good EVOO and paprika would have made the dish a great option to share and enjoy an icon of Galician cuisine at your doorstep. 5.- Low loin: Without a doubt it was the best dish of our dinner, the point was excellent. The accompaniment was the same potatoes as the broken eggs. However, a little more accompaniment would not have gone amiss. The only notable thing to improve about the dish would be its lack of embers, since it did not appear anywhere. Finally, we didn't order anything for dessert since the food was enough for us. Hopefully we can return soon and try new dishes on the menu. The service was good with good attention and you could see that the wait staff was constantly looking at the table to see if something was offered to us.
