Come here for some rest after a long walk around Centre Culturel De La Memoire Combattante. Visit this restaurant for a break and order nicely cooked tapas. Taste good profiteroles.

We had two nights in Carcassonne and were lucky to find Casa Maria on our first afternoon. The food was so good that we ate there twice. Fresh, tasty and of high quality. In an area full of tourist menus this was a pleasant change. Highly recommend it. Delicious Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Highly underrated! Quite possibly the finest meal I've ever had! Very busy and somewhat chaotic but totally unpretentious. The staff although running from place to place are very helpful and accommodating when they get a moment that is and genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves. The food is absolutely incredible! Everything was unlike anything I'd had before. The steak was cut by weight to order and perfectly cooked, aubergine that melted in your mouth, delicately baked goats cheese with honey and apple! Even the roated potatoes were somehow very impressive. Prices and portions are also pretty reasonable. Not to be missed unless you don't want to be fantasizing about that meal for the rest your life.
