Did the chef's tasting menu and it was worth every cent. What sets Casa Montaña apart is how balanced every dish is each note takes a turn front and center. Ex: The stuffed piquillo pepper: one bite and you taste tuna, then béchamel, then pepper, in sequence. The pepito de titaina nearly made me cry the fried dough was so close to my grandmother's beignets, just more refined, lighter on the yeast. A meal that reaches across the Mediterranean and pulls up a memory. Go.
