First the good.  We loved our waiter.  He was super friendly and very informative.  (He even provided us a complementary shot of port with our desserts.)   We came here for lunch.  We ordered one of the three course specials that they were offering.  I had the fish soup that had mussels in it.  I thought it good but not great.  I rather like the vegetable soup that my husband had.  We had a hard time deciphering what type of vegetables they were, maybe potato and spinach?  It was also good but not great.  Another in our party had a plate with three cheeses, some salamis and nuts and dried fruit (read raisins).  I could pass on the salamis (and did) but the cheeses were excellent!  They were all local/regional cheeses and we all loved getting that local flavor.  One was a kind of soft cheese that we first took for mayonnaise.  It was our lovely waiter that provided descriptions of the three cheeses and told us the soft one was a local specialty.  Hubby had the octopus salad which he said was only okay and I didn't care for at all.  I had the cod filet which I didn't care for because it was way too salty!  On the other hand the shrimp garnish and accompanying vegetables were under salted.   My friend who had the garlic shrimp was lukewarm on them because she found too many to be mealy.  I had the rice pudding for dessert which again was only average.  Loved the port taster so much though that we bought a bottle from them!
