The set up is nice: quiet street across the bridge. The service is excellent. No crowd. But the food does not measure to the hype and the menu is actually flat. Nothing special. The steak must be avoided. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €90–100

The food was great, but we left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. The people who sat us down and everyone else were great except our waitress. The first thing our waitress did when she walked over was say “okay?” And waived her hands at us. None of us really responded because we were confused so she continued waiving her hands at us. If we didn’t immediately know what we wanted she’d say she’ll come back later and walk away before we could say anything. At one point after that I saw her waive another waiter over to deal with us and we didn’t see her for the rest of the night. She did seem much happier with other guests. I also don’t know if there was a misunderstanding but when we said we were ready for dessert all of our remaining food was taken away before we could say anything and we never saw it again, we were hoping for a box. I’m not sure if it’s because we’re American, speak English, or because we weren’t in super fancy clothes. She did speak English later in the night so I don’t think it was a language barrier situation. I ended up just wanting to leave and not enjoying something I had planned and reserved far in advance. The staff was warm and welcoming to our group of six, and their recommendations for both the food and wine were excellent. We enjoyed our experience so much that we encouraged others in our larger group to visit Casa Prati before we head home. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40
