We only came across this place by walking by during late evening hours. Despite not making a prior booking, we were welcomed in and had one of the best local food during our 9 day trip in Tenerife. The host, the food, the views and the overall experience was amazing. No menu, only set course available, cash only. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The whole place had exactly the atmosphere I love — it felt like being a child spending summer holidays at your grandma’s house. And THAT VIEW! Absolutely breathtaking. I don’t even know where to start with the food — amazing homemade dishes, full of flavor and prepared with love. Everything was perfect. This place will always be special to me because my boyfriend proposed to me there, which made the whole experience even more magical and unforgettable. One small thing to keep in mind: you can’t pay by card, so make sure to bring cash. Highly recommended, 10/10! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Casa Riquelme is a true hidden gem in the old village of Masca. The moment you arrive, you feel the charm of the place — it’s not fancy, but full of authentic character and warmth. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel the passion he puts into his cooking. The local dish he prepared for us, slow-cooked in red wine, was absolutely delicious — simple, traditional, and full of flavor. It felt like tasting real homemade Canarian food. If you appreciate rustic places with history, kindness, and genuine local cuisine, this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
