I'll preface my review by saying that the food is great, and the atmosphere is lovely. Why the three stars then? When ordering, I specifically made sure with the server that my dish was dairy free (it was listed as such on the menu) and she also confirmed that. However, the dish that came out was both the wrong dish, and contained dairy. Being a server is tough work and mistakes happen, so I wasn't upset, just wanted the right order. She was great and sent it back to the kitchen, as well as comped it from the tab. Here's where it gets odd. Essentially, I asked for the dish to go, because it was getting late and I wanted to go home. I open the dish at home, and it's still the wrong order but made vegan? I appreciate the kindness of the staff, but I received the wrong order twice, which was a bummer because I really did want to try the aji de gallina. There are many great restaurants in Portland City but Casa Zoraya is #1 amongst all of them and the closest thing to a flawless dining experience I have ever had. Everything here has been thoughtfully perfected without straying to elitist extremes. The food is tasty and beautiful, in practical portions at a reasonable price. The people are pleasant and the ambiance makes me feel happy. It is all such a wonderful balance of ambition and honesty. Tonight my wife and I enjoyed our tenth wedding anniversary dinner here. I had the Lomo Saltado. I think it's my favorite. The sirloin is amazing. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
