It's a shame that you have to pay for WiFi. Wellness is nice. Restaurant in the winter garden is OK, good offers on the menu. Service has room for improvement, orders were not always taken correctly. There are also clinic guests in the fitness room. Were there as hotel guests. Nearby activities: Sole thermal baths nearby. Walkability: Proximity to the center. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

Ok for walks in the forest, otherwise not very attractive. No drinking water from the tap, the nearest shops are far away. Noteworthy details: Terrible customer service! Refused booked services such as coffee and cake in the afternoon. We had to pay 20.-/night more on site because we were traveling with a dog. Even though we booked it that way and it wasn't communicated or described anywhere. Unfriendly and not competent in contact with guests. Definitely not a wellness hotel! Atmosphere like in a rehabilitation clinic. Spa area outdated, steam bath didn't work, Finnish sauna only 60 degrees, although labeled 90 degrees. The shower next to it was broken, no drinks in the spa area. I have stayed in many hotels and have always been satisfied. But I can only strongly advise against the Waldeck as a wellness hotel. Unless you get it prescribed as a rehabilitation spa hotel. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 2
