We've been here for lunch with a guided tour from a Costa cruise. The service was quick, but that's about it. The food was mediocre at best and the atmosphere is very uncomfortable.

Casanova restaurant is good for families & group reservations. Their food is fresh from the garden taste. Excellent al dente pasta and a must try cheese cake. Skip the grilled vegetable dish because flavor is lost the way they make it and go for the salad instead. The aesthetics feels like creative thought went behind this place design and wasn't a generic place to eat. It's walking distance North from the Vatican. If you speak Italian, French you'll be fine, if not have a translator or use a translation app. It felt like we were inconveniencing the server by having modifications to orders due to Allergies, Vegan request & Vegetarian request. Overall they did accommodate us properly even with language differences. Wait time is not bad but I recommend setting up reservations in advance. If you're looking for a unique experience in Rome restaurants, this is the place to try.
