Freddie Cascio’s Italian Restaurant-red snapper with lump crab meat, fresh Sal Petitto’s roasted red cherry tomatoes(yes it’s THAT Petitto known for his strawberries !) in a light sauce, and fresh soft shelled crab with the sweetest non-greasy homemade onion rings ever! Paired with a super cold Peroni, you’ll think you’re in old Italy. If you haven’t been in a while, rediscover this charming iconic restaurant. The spumone and cannoli are special ordered from Brocato’s in NOLA and Freddie makes his own crusty French bread daily. Attentive service. Cosy, nostalgic atmosphere. Kid friendly.
