Bar Cassis is a true local gem and was the highlight of our trip to Kyoto. If you are looking for a fun, casual place to get away from tourists and meet friendly locals, this is the place for you! The owner, Kashi-san, is very welcoming and happy to walk you through his nice selection of local spirits. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Kyoto! We stumbled upon this wonderful cocktail bar hidden upstairs away from the loud karaoke bars and were so happy we did. The selection of whisky was top notch and the atmosphere was elegant. The bartender was very welcoming and spoke very good English. Everyone was very friendly and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
