Lovely pub right next to the castle. Amazing food and drinks all for a great price. Friendly couple who go out of their way to help. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

Quiche salad was chopped up mini Quiches into quarters like large crumbs with indiscernable filling. Looked like they were previously frozen and possibly bought by the hundreds from wholesalers. Outside space was simply dirty with moss growing in slats of tables, broken tables just abandoned and broken planters full of weeds. Cobwebs in everything particularly the many dead shrubs and trees. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

My sincere apologies. We are looking into making changes to the way we serve the quiche salad. My apologies about the garden area. We are in the process of tidying the whole of the garden and getting rid of the plant pots. Hopefully this wake the garden a more memorable eating area. Again I cannot apologise for your poor visit.

Definitely would come great bar staff and to top it off came in at 19.10pm 10min after food stopped they opened the kitchen back up for us and served us food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
