This bar is a nice choice if you are in the mood for the British cuisine. It's a pleasant experience to try good gammon, flatbreads and prawns. Taste tasty sticky toffee pudding, brownies and soufflés at Castle Inn. It's time to degustate delicious ale, Merlot or lager. As a number of reviewers remark, tea is really great.

Called in for a quick drink and was not impressed. Asked for a bitter lemon for my aged relative to be told 'we dont have that' and the barman seemed unaware of what it was, in my mind it's a standard thing in a pub. So she opted for a slimline tonic, she was asked if she wanted a glass! Really, a glass! Obviously we said yes and were given a pint glass! Moving on, when we sat down the table had clearly been wiped with a dirty cloth as it was sticky, really sticky. So sticky that all the beer mats were stuck to it. Only had the one and very much doubt that we'll be back. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
