The really disappointing thing with this review is that for the years you have been having regular Take Aways you have never felt the need to leave a positive review. The country is in the throws of a cost of living crisis , the cost of goods, fuel and energy at an all time high. These increased costs do not only affect households , they affect business operators also. The kids meal that you speak about in your review also includes a choice of drink.and for your information the portion size has not been affected, it is still the same but the price has increased now after many months of product increases to us without passing on any of the costs to the customer. The chip portion size is bigger than the size of a cone of chips, ample to feed a child under 12 as it is designed to do, this puts the value of the chip portion at £4, the drink included in the meal varies but can be averaged out at £1.50, we are now sitting at £5.50 before we add the other items, for example 4oz of cod bites that cost us £1.80 before we even batter them, then we have all the fixed costs, the oil , the packaging the wages etc.... before we even start on the Vat element of the £6.95 which is £1.16 !! My suggestion would be that you might be better suited to another establishment. We serve quality food for a fair price which may help us survive this very challenging landscape that we find ourselves in.
