Among other Italian cuisune places to eat at, this bar can be one of the best. Mouthwatering oysters, ragout and grilled salads are among the dishes to be ordered at Cattivella Wood Fired Italian. Order tasty tiramisu, chocolate cakes and gâteau. Here you can drink delicious house wine, beer or negroni. It's nice to taste great espresso, cappuccino or lemonade.

I first tried this place during Denver Restaurant Week, and I've been back since. They have really interesting but homey dishes, and some things change seasonally. I'd recommend going during happy hour so you can try more small plates and see what your favorites are- mine are the orrecchiette (on the summer menu), scagliozze (small, but delightful and different), and the mushroom pizza. If you make reservations at the Chef's Counter, you can watch them make all the food and fire the pizzas- It's a fun experience. The vibe inside is fairly relaxed for such quality food (lots of people don't dress up). There is a nice patio area, but I think those reservations go quickly.
Jason was a great server. Very busy and he still managed to deliver. The Lamb Ragu was nothing short of amazing. Homemade Papparalle always peaks my interest but the lamb was also delicate and the sauce was a spectacular. The Chargrilled Oysters were divine. We also loved the Meat and cheese plate, the Buffalo Mozz Pizza and the Calamari. Monday was Happy Hour All Day with great prices. We’d definitely return anytime in the Denver area.
The food was excellent as was the service however the ambiance was very noisy and that is why I could not give it five stars. I would like to try it again another time.
