Great little hometown steak house. It's the kind of place that you visit when traveling and it makes you feel a little more like home or family or like you belong. The food was fine, it's probably a little over priced for what you get but it tasted good. The place was clean and tidy and had low country music playing. It was rather dim inside which suited. The lady who took care of me was fantastic. She was just a real person and it made me feel good. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

I'd give The Cattle Ranch about 2-3 stars; maybe because I wasn't feeling too well, but still. My servers/hosts were great, super sweet and attentive. My boyfriend and his dad always rave about this place for steaks, so I came in expecting a hit. I wasn't in a steak mood. Soo I ordered the 6oz chicken, With broccoli & fries. The men said their shrimp was great! Nice, hot, and fresh. The bread was warm and comforting. I like that apple sauce come's on the side, cute little touch. But once the entrees hit the table... things went downhill. More so on my end. My chicken wasn't just slightly salty, it was really salty, and tough as hell. Like it had been overcooked. Chewing it felt like a nightmare. The broccoli was cold, but the fries were popping and came out hot shortly after. My boyfriend's dad ordered his steak "Pittsburgh Style" it came out a little overcooked, but not terrible. He said it was fine. Salad was "alright to them" nothing too special they said. It was the house salad, other then the croutons being stale? Nothing special. My boyfriend's steak was good, and so was the sides. The sodas were strong! Even with the hiccups, I do want to give this place another try. It was late, and I wasn't feeling the best. And well I get it. I'll definitely return one day to try their famous steak. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $30–40 Recommended dishes: Fried Shrimp, Buck Skins, House Salad, Coconut Shrimp Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: They got little kiddie chairs. And a Kids MENU section. Wheelchair accessibility: It's flat, so easy to roll a wheelchair in there. No inclines.
