I have been to Cave Cuvee in 2023 it was really great. I went again 2 weeks ago and it felt very tired and forgotten about. Nothing had really been updated since last time and it needed a lick of paint and a bit of care. It still had Beaujolais 2024 pictures on the wall, the streamers over the door had been ripped off and the bathroom felt uncared for. The bin was overflowing and there was just random bottles of deodorant on the sink. The drinks were nice, but we were told there was no food. It needs to TLC to bring it back to its former glory. Very disappointed with my partner’s experience at Top Cuvée Shoreditch. There was no visible sign stating it’s card-only, which caused an issue when she tried to pay with cash. Instead of handling it professionally, the manager was rude and condescending, questioning her with remarks like, “You don’t have a card? You can’t call a friend?” This wasn’t about the money—we could have easily paid. It was about the disrespect and poor customer service. We would have recommended this place, but after this experience, definitely not. I hope the owner addresses this, as no one should be treated this way. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £10–20
