First time I've been to the Cavendish Arms and not impressed. We were sat in the basement area which felt like the hardshoulder of a motorway as the only people we spotted were the kitchen servers. I had the steak and ale pie and it was dry followed by a cheesecake which had a soggy bottom. Others in group selected other alternatives and desserts and not one person in the group had a good word to say about the food. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Rang up 2 book a table. No answer so left a message. Nobody rang back not good customer service. When I rang later all booked up so very disappointed.
