It is the best spot near Carlsbad Village. Many guests come to degust nicely cooked chicken, beef and pork. The recipe for success of this bar is its tasty cheese croissants and good chocolate sandwiches. It's time to degustate delicious beer, wine or martinis. Here you may have great iced latte, tea or hot chocolate.

You can enjoy live music in the evening. The gracious staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at Cbar. Fast service is something that people highlight in their reviews. We came for wine after dinner and the staff was attentive and welcoming. The wine selection would make anyone giddy. I learned they make full on dinner and offer Beef Wellington Fri-Sunday. It looks amazing and I can’t wait to return to try. We stopped by for breakfast as they are also a coffee shop. The cappuccino was excelente. The breakfast burrito (wrap) is now my #1 in North County. The texture not just all mush, thanks to the extra thick bacon and potatoes, and the salsa spicy, actually surprisingly hot for this areas milquetoast palate. I’m coming back for more of everything. I learned they have live music, so date night it is.

LOVE their gluten free brownie, coffee, espresso for making lattes and seating options. Super cute place and love perching at their bar facing the street or outside. Great menu too, but too obsessed with their coffee and brownie to order actual food yet. YUM! Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came across this chic, yet casual, spot with a couple of friends while exploring State St on Tuesday night. We had just finished dinner so didn't have the opportunity to eat here(the menu is LEGIT), yet, but had to acknowledge our experience and first impression of this place. We stopped for just a moment to check out the menu and see what this place was all about, and even though it was their closing time, one of the waiters(I believe his name was Andrew) still welcomed us in and spent time in explaining to us everything CBar has to offer. Really nice, patient and welcoming guy. On top of that, one of the owners(Mike) treated us to a tasting of a really great French wine he offers in his restaurant and chatted with us for a while. He told us all about the food, drinks and experiences offered here(live music/events), and also their plan to make this a well-rounded establishment whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee&croissant, a full course dinner, or a glass or two of wine to wind down after work or before dinner or a show. These guys really defined the meaning of true hospitality which has unfortunately gotten lost in the sauce in the past few years. Really stoked to watch this place become a community staple, and will absolutely make a point to get back there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
