Papy Ricky in Callao Is One of Lima’s Best Bites Tucked away in the quiet streets of Callao, Papy Ricky is the kind of place you’d never find without a local tip — and it turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. No fancy decor, no hype — just real, soulful food. I had the leche de tigre and arroz de mariscos a la chiclayana for about $11 USD total (enough for two), and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Forget the bad reviews. This spot isn’t for the pretentious — it’s for people who care about flavor, tradition, and food that speaks for itself. I seriously want Papy Ricky to adopt me. If you're in Lima, go. Just go.
