I took a friend here for some quick takeout that we brought back home to share. I hadn’t been to Cedar in a few years since moving out of upper Monroe. They have only gotten better if that was even possible. We ordered baba and a large combo plate and a few extra pita to share. Everything was impressive and delicious, and packed up nicely for taking it to enjoy elsewhere. In a city that has many decent Mediterranean options, Cedar stands out from the pack in a display of thoughtful preparation without pretense. I’m so glad I stopped in again, and it’s back in my rotation for sure.
