Kingston Kitchen (formerly CeeDee) in Tucson is a great spot for authentic Jamaican cuisine. The jerk chicken is outstanding, with just the right amount of heat and flavor, while the oxtail is fall-off-the-bone delicious. The coconut shrimp appetizer is a must-try, and the festival fry bread is a great accompaniment to any meal. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service can be a bit slow, but the staff are friendly and welcoming. Plantains are sometimes unavailable, so it's best to call ahead to check. All in all, Kingston Kitchen (formerly CeeDee) is a great spot for an enjoyable Caribbean culinary experience.
Best Jamaican spot in Tucson. Great service. Nice open space restaurant. Happy this hit the craving I needed for my Carribean food. Delicious jerk chicken. I only got the chicken but the plates normally come with rice and peas. Steamed cabbage and festivals or sweet plantains. 10/10 flavor and texture. Great service and wonderful camaraderie between the staff. Quaint and clean restaurant. They have alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks like ginger beer in different flavors like pineapple. Large selection of beers including modelo. Family run business. Formerly known as Kingston. CeeDee Jamaican Kitchen was ordered to my workplace for lunch today. We ordered food for a large group of people and every order was correct. The food was delicious. I had the jerk chicken tacos and would highly recommend.
