Cenci was an amazing experience and a cherished memory of our visit to Kyoto. Chef Ken Sakamoto and his staff were exceptional. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The presentation and flavor profiles of each dish was both a visual and flavorful experience. The chef expertly merged Italian and Japanese cuisine into such inventive and delicious dishes. this was one of our best meals in kyoto! we enjoyed every dish and the impeccable service by the staff (: the chef came to each table to say hello and even sent off each guest in person! the dish that left a lasting impression on me was the dessert - especially the thyme ice cream, which was simply incredible!
