Rarely have I had such an amazing evening turn so sour as today! Myself and friends did an amazing job at promoting our place of work, but when we decided to go for dinner we were disrespected in a way I could never imagine! 1. we got our bill before we finished our wine, yes there was a line of people waiting to be seated, but I don’t believe we have to feel guilty for actually finish our meal or drinks. 2. as it happens I was the only one without cash so I wanted to pay the full bill on my card, we didn’t ask to split the bill in 4 no we arranged it among ourselves and I would pay with 1 card! Unfortunately one of the staff did not agree with this decision and made it abanduntly and also very loudly clear! To make matters worse this staff member also made it worse by apologizing to our ‘Roman’ friend’! However I still believe I decide how to pay the bill at any place! Long story short, I will not return to Pizzeria Remo a Testaccio or recommend it! I wish you the best with this kind of attitude against ‘stranieri’ in Rome ❤️😍
