Right after visiting Hank Williams Museum, come here for a meal. Spend a nice time here and share tasty fried oysters, beef ribs and fillet steaks with your friends. Try good lemon pie, blueberry cheesecakes and cream donuts this bar offers. You will be offered delicious brandy, Merlot or draft beer. Central Restaurant has great chocolate frappe among its drinks.

Absolutely fantastic. Not just for Montgomery, this is some of the best food and service anywhere. Decent drink list and whiskey choices to start with. Then the duck confit appetizer as well as the ravioli and beef tartine apps were delicious, literally some of the best mixes of flavor I've ever had. On to the mains, the pork chop(to die for), the crab fried rice(unbelievable), the tres major(OMG). I cannot say enough about how they put these flavor profiles together, just WOW! As if this wasn't enough, on to dessert! Both the creme brulee and the German chocolate donut we're beyond expectation. I'm so disappointed that I can't try everything on the menu as this place is so phenomenal. I should've stopped to take some photos but it was just too damn good. Do not skip this place when you're in Montgomery, well worth the stop, I only wish I had more time. The food there is good, usually with a different kick or variant spice application. I loved the ambiance. It gives the vibe of an upscale restaurant without taking itself too seriously. The staff were very helpful, attentive, and respectful. While parking might be tricky in downtown Montgomery, it was worth it to dine in at central restaurant.
