Central Poboys make the heartiest, filling, delicious poboys. They are a busy lunch spot but customer service can't be beat no matter how busy they are! I always order a large ham and cheese poboy and mozzarella sticks when I am working as an actor at New Orleans Nightmare. Just 1/4 of the poboy right before the show keeps me going. The poboys also keep amazingly in the fridge, so get a big one and enjoy it for 2 days.

What an outstanding Po-boy especially if you like ‘em wet! That au jus was perfectly salted and black peppered. Thin sliced roast beef that was tender. And that bread. Just enough to keep it together. Don’t try to take it Togo with gravy on it. Get out the napkins !! This place is a must!!
