I visited the CBD venue recently and wanted to pass on some feedback about the host who greeted us at the door. He took the time to properly explain the menu, even drawing us a little picture of the day's specialty margarita. The complimentary bag of popcorn was also a lovely touch. Honestly, I walked in expecting a fairly standard, high-energy bar experience, and that welcome completely changed how the whole night felt. It made the place feel genuinely thoughtful and considered, not just busy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a seriously delightful solo happy hour experience here while waiting for a friend after work. I sat at the bar and chatted with the extremely lovely bar staff while I had a spicy marg and a bag of popcorn. The hour passed so quickly and I'll definitely be back - I prefer Centro 86 to the Caterpillar Club next door, though they're both good. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $1–20

The service was pretty shocking for me. We came here on a Friday to enjoy some margaritas after dinner. There was salt and chilli salt sitting out on the open bar and I thought it was for everyone to use. I took some and a male bartender spoke quite aggressively to me in front of other customers and yanked the salt from the table. We were quite shocked by his reaction and naturally stood up for ourselves. Instead of explaining that it wasn't for customers a female bartender chimed in and gave me this strange rattlesnake analogy about the difference between men and women getting bitten depending on whether they touch the snake. It was just such a bizarre and sexist thing to say. It was so uncomfortable how she made the situation unnecessarily gendered and sexist. What made it even more strange was that they had said this was apparently the 4th time it had happened that night (it was around 7:30pm) so clearly it was an easy enough mistake for customers to make. I’ve been here before and have had decent experiences so this was pretty disappointing. We decided to leave and unfortunately will not be returning. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $80–100
