One of the nicer places in Mérida. The food is clearly above average. You're going to pay for thar quality. However the atmosphere is pleasant enough I was happy to pay the extra. I am so tried of trying to take my wife out for a special occasion only to find we can't have a conversation because children are allowed to run all over the place yelling, screaming or crying. Or the dreaded table of guys completely drunk yelling the same story for the second or third time. We completely stopped going to a restaurant we really liked after not being able to hear anything other than the obscene stories from the group of loud, drunk men at the table next to us for the third time. You'd think the manager would have enough brain cells firing that he could at least move them to a table in corner away from other dinners. I realize drinks bring in a high profit % in most places but is it so high you'd being to lose all your other business? I can only hope Cervo doesn't end up being a playground for 3 and 4 year Olds while their parents act like they can't hear them. Or tables of grown men begin acting like 3 and 4 years olds due to alcohol consumption. But tonight, our first visit, was nearly perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
