I don't normally write reviews but for this I really feel like I need to. Just for context, this is my first time ordering from this place and I ordered through Uber Eats and picked up my order myself. Photos included of when I picked it up and before I started eating. Yucca Fries. This is what REALLY got me heated and to write the review. $14 for 6 pieces of yucca... I remember reading the price online and being like "ok that's a little pricey but at least I SHOULD get enough to match the price"... WRONG. (see attached photos) That's roughly $2.30 PER YUCCA! No Yucca should cost this much. Opening this box I just felt robbed and disrespected. I thought, maybe the taste is worth $14... WRONG. I've had better yucca fries, and more, for $10. Steak Bites. You simply cannot market "Steak Bites" PLURAL and only give me two pieces of steak thrown between bread and brie cheese. Especially not for $15 when the whole thing is smaller than the palm of my hand (see attached photos). The "s" in bites SHOULD mean I'm biting multiple times... WRONG. I swallowed those two pieces in one go. I honestly only purchased this item to add it to my Feijoada but I couldn't even do that because when I opened the box, all I could say was "What's the point?". Did it taste good? Sure. It wasn't anything that could ever make my toes curl or even let out a blissful "yum". Feijoada. I should preface this and say I am Brazilian, born and raised, I've had my fair share of Feijoada and know that they are all made differently. The only thing that really "saved" my meal today was the Feijoada and even there I was disappointed. It's description being "Hearty stew of beans and pork" is only half true. I don't normally count the portions of my meals unless it's blaringly obvious and in this case, it would've been more accurate to describe the dish as "Hearty stew of beans and VEGGIES". There were 5 pieces of pork in this stew, one of which I ate before realizing that I need to apparently ration my meal. The stew part of it tastes really good though and I can only imagine that eating it in-house would've tasted a lot better. Anyways, that's a subtotal of $47 I will never see again and always regret spending on this place. To my understanding, their buffet is a lot cheaper and probably a lot more worth it (I've never tried it) but I was picking this up for lunch and couldn't stay because I had to go back to work. To Restaurante Cesaria: Please fix your prices or fix your portions because right now you're robbing your customers which is a shame because everyone should be able to afford and enjoy a traditional meal and not pay nearly the price of gas, at this point, for a traditional restaurant to skimp out of portions. It's a shame. Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50
$$$$ Price range per person $20-$30
