I’ve been a regular at Ceylon Table since they opened, both dine-in and takeaway, but this time was a huge letdown. I ordered the Chicken Raavana Padayal to-go and a watermelon juice to have there since it was hot. Oddly, after making the juice, the staff huddled behind the counter and eventually gave it to me in a takeaway cup with my food. We didn’t think much—took a tuk and went home. But the juice was not cold at all and when I opened it, it smelled awful. It was clear the watermelon was spoiled—full of pulp, seeds, and already fermenting. Completely undrinkable. Very disappointed with the lack of quality control. I’ve trusted this place for so long, but this experience really makes me think twice. Meal type: Lunch
