Chalon is a restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Okayama Airport. It offers Westernized Japanese and traditional Japanese food in a modern, but casual setting with reasonable prices. It is considered to be a family restaurant, which I take to be family-friendly. Menus are available in English and there are pictures on them so you know what you are getting. Ordered a deep fried oysters meal, which came with a bunch of sides, including rice and miso soup. A cup of tea was also provided. The oysters were fried to perfection and absolutely delicious. It is always nice to have a leisurely meal at an airport restaurant with good pricing before your flight and this restaurant matches that description.
