Chami Place is a charming, family-run beachside spot that quickly became one of the highlights of our time in Dickwella. Tucked right on the sand, it offers a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. The owner Chami is incredibly kind—friendly and attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear the whole family Chami's husband, daughter and her son is involved, and their warmth and hospitality shine through in everything they do. We stopped by there few times and ordered food and drinks, which was simple and satisfying, but the real draw here is the atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a few drinks, lounge in the sun, and take in the absolutely stunning sunset—the best we found in the area. Whether you're looking to unwind after a swim or just want a quiet spot to sip something cold as the sky turns gold and pink, Chami Place is not to be missed. Highly recommended! Great location, super nice and attentive service, fair prices. However, the food was really bad. Had fish kottu. The fish pieces tasted and looked like cardboard. The rest of the kottu was fine, but obviously that ruined the dish. I'd only come again for drinks or maybe a veggie dish. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really friendly staff and great food and drink - you can use the sunbeds here all day as long as you are buying - but the prices are really reasonable so it’s all good. Really really enjoyed the curry and the pancakes were good too! They even cut my coconut into a cute mouse which I loved haha Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Rs 1,000–1,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
